Paddy Kerrigan has a wealth of knowledge about the history of Kiandra, gleaned during his time working on the Snowy Scheme (from 1953) and subsequently from an extensive reading of the historical archives in the National and Mitchell Libraries. His knowledge is practically based as he has spent many hours retracing the old tracks and water race lines in and around the Kiandra gold fields.
Paddy is willing to share his knowledge with those with an interest in Kiandra history. He can be contacted by post addressed to Paddy Kerrigan, PO Box 15, Adaminaby NSW 2629. Alternatively, you can send an email to: hughcapel@boake.net, who will arrange to forward your message to Paddy. |
